We do reviews!

So it's been forever since we've posted an update. Site has been or is in the process of being updated. Hopefully everything will be as up to date as possible real soon but for the most part we're caught up! The store has been upgraded so there is all kinds of distro stuff listed there now so you can shop online and not actually have to talk to a real person! exciting! We've also finally started reviews. First one has been posted. Gonna try to write as least one a week so check 'er out!

KLOVENHOOFS TAPE

we have a release coming out tomorrow! klovenhoofs - inebrious asunder. 8 tracks of bluesy dark rock. makes you want to party, drink beer and grow a beard. one of my favourite releases of this year to be honest.

check them out below. the tape will be available in the webstore sometime over the next few days. we are a little busy with the ottawa explosion this weekend.

speaking of which, the first place the cassettes will be available is at the saturday evening house show as part of the ottawa explosion! $5. tape is out of 50 on gray tapes.

HUGE UPDATE - new releases and new distro items

may was probably the busiest month for dwyer and alaskan ever. we're kind of happy it's over to be honest. all the hard work has paid off, however. please keep reading and see for yourself.

RECORD LABEL NEWS:
consider this our official unveiling of our next two releases:
DR005: KLOVENHOOFS - "INEBRIOUS ASUNDER" cassette
limited to 50, gray tapes.
sounds like what you'd expect from these guys, huge, loud and dirty. we're extremely happy with this so far and expect to be assembling tapes this week. release date, June 18th, 2011. preview below.


DR006: thediscordofaforgottensketch - don't pay more than $5 cassette
their latest release only on cd until now.
limited to 25, blue cassettes. very fun and very true to their sound. completely different and new artwork/packaging is being designed for this release. designed by, of course, ross proulx. no official release date as it's already been released. the cassettes will be ready when they're ready...by end of june is what we're hoping for.



DISTRO NEWS
just put in an order for these gems:

all will sell quickly and the cobra noir and kaospilot records are almost OOP. get em while you can! we should be posting these for sale mid-late june.
